    My outdoor fireplace needed significant restoration work to be done on the firebox and on the chimney cap. The original firebrick was dry stacked and the firebrick was attached to the walls via silicone adhesive. Joel came out looked at the condition of the firebox, took pictures and measurements, and said he would have a quote prepared w/n a week. The quote included better firebrick that would be mortared in place using fireplace clay. Additionally, a piece of angle iron would added to help support the heath. Finally, Joel included a limestone crown and new cap to help prevent water from leaking down the chimney. Joel explained how this method of setting the bricks would better allow the bricks to expand during a fire and then cool down. Joel emailed and called to let me know when the work would begin, and during the two days they were at my house I received emails stating when they would be onsite. Joel, his dad and the rest of the team were complete professionals while onsite. They made time to answer any questions I had. Great locally based small business to work with.     Joel and his crew were great. The response time from our estimate request and when they came to do the work was quick. They tore out our existing retaining wall and rebuilt it. They also did some tuck point work for us. See more See less

    I contracted with Shamblin Masonry to install 46 commercial fire pits for an RV park in Buckeye Lake. They were systematic in organizing material delivery, which was appreciated by the guests within the RV park! The Shamblin team worked efficiently in constructing each fire pit. They were friendly and professional with each guest that they encountered. The quality of work was superb! They finished the project within the timeframe as promised. They also did a phenomenal job with clean-up afterwards. I would highly recommend Shamblin Masonry & Restoration, and will surely use them again if ever a need arises! See more See less

    I can't recommend this company enough for their professionalism and amazing efforts to make my dream come true for my chimney. The stonework is beautiful and they were very affordable.     Had a short retaining wall rebuilt that was falling apart. Great experience - they were very responsive and worked to fit it into their schedule quickly. They had to remove an old chain link fence and a bunch of weeds, break out the original wall, and reconstruct with new materials - which they did in a day . They also did some work patching cracks in my old broken down window wells. They were fine whether I asked them to go the cheapest route or higher quality (no pushback or upselling).     Would hire Shamblin Masonry & Restoration to do any job! We have had this company do three different types of jobs for us..chimney cap repair, stone on the front of our house & drywall repairs on a textured ceiling and the sidewall from water damage. All have been completed with exceptional workmanship & in a timely manner. Joel communicated with us every step of the way, along with sending pictures as soon as job was completed before leaving job site.
